I have a sig P228 I carry (9mm), because I don't work patrol anymore. It's a great compact weapon, shoots well, and still has the high capacity mag of 13.

Our patrol guys have the 229 .45s. Also a very good gun.

I want an HK pistol of any type, but they're too damned expensive.

Speaking of high capacity mags, I kept all my magazines from when I got out of the Army. I have three 15 round 9mm mags for a beretta and thre or four for the sig 229 / m11. All hold 15 rounds.
