hahaah you know its crazy ive been fighting strictly muay thai for eight years. and I felt like I was in the best shape possible because I could do sprint power padwork for 20 5 minute rounds with 30 second rests and then go through another strength workout. then I started working with grapplers. I'm not a fan out mma but I was told you can really improve your clinch strength by training with Mixed martial artists. man they were right. I still dont like mma but i have a whole hell of a lot of respect for the endurance of groundfighting. anyone who does BJJ or wrestles as part of their martial arts, good job keep it up. and as for you guys who are starting muay thai, RIGHT ON. it's always great to see new people getting into the sport. and if you find that you love it, its your work ethic, and attitude that will take you farther than looking like a pro when you train.
