Rumour: Bisping v McCarthy
No, Mike's not taking on Big John!
According to the Savage Dog Show this week, the UFC are holding another UK event just A WEEK after UFC82, in London on March 8th and he also said that Bisping will be making his MW debut against Charles 'Chainsaw' McCarthy!
Should be a good fight, but I see Mike getting the TKO.

Well, they definitely want Bisping to get a win in his debut...
The winner?
Charles McCarthy... it is not you!

Glad he is going down to 185 at least. That adds a little depth to the division.

Do you honestly believe that or are you just saying it cos you dont like Bisping?
Judging by the fact that ALL of McCarthy's win have been submissions and he's never KO'd anyone Id say its probably the latter.

I'm glad to see Bisping finally test the waters at MW. I think he's a good fit for the division, and the type of talent the division needs.

Not exactly a test for Bisping but I guess the division is so shallow right now that they may not have had much of a choice.

LOL!!!! We were all thiking it...good for you to say. Might as well make him fight an octagon girl. His slipping big time from the hype he started. Let Hammil take another crack at him (I bet Hammil would drop a weight class to get a few licks on Bisping).
Or let Swick take a crack at him before he goes welter!

I don't really follow Bisping but i am surprised he's already making the drop to 185. i think the weight cutting is going to get the best of him and puts him at a disadvantage against a guy like McCarthy who has fought at 185 many times. i think the UFC may need to consider adding more weight classes at some point. There are too many good fighters who are too small for one division and too big for the next one down. Of course this would'nt solve anything since guys would still cut weight to gain an advantage. i guess you just have to hope you're natural weight allows you to cut down to the appropriate class. Guys like Swick and Bisping don't seem to have that luck.

Bisping vs McCarthy. The UFC sure has a lot of confidence in Bisping
Could the UFC be any more transparent?
I'll be cheering ( more like praying ) for Mccarthy.

That would be great to see McCarthy get the win over Bisping. It's possible, but very unlikely.

Would have loved to see Bisping v Okami so Okami could make a fool out of him.
It seems to me like Bisping is dropping down to dodge Hamill.

Chainsaw by Sub in the 1st! Bisping will look like Dana White in the weigh-ins.

LOL I was just saying it man coz i dont like him at all , but honestly , IMO i think most of Bispings MMA record wins have come from fighting guys that should be in lower weight classes , for example , Ross Pointon. Man Ross should be like a LW or WW , he's too short and doesnt have a good reach for his height either. But I mean my point is , is that Bisping struggles like hell in LHW , He cant hang with Top tier fighters! , IMO, I can see him getting beaten by Liddell , Shogun, tiago and Wandy silva , and Alexander and a few others.
He pretty much got worked over by Hamill who i consider at this point a middle tier fighter.
Dropping to MW is probably the best move of his career.

In all seriousness I think McCarthy will win this fight, he'll submit Bisping in the first or second round or win by decision. When's the last time Bisping has actually fought... lately he's been a punching bag and after this fight he'll just be another victim of da CHAINSAW!
