Default Too many clothing companies!!

I'm starting to feel alittle run over by the number of MMA lifestyle clothing companies out there. It started with Sprawl and TapouT but now there has to be 100 companies out there offering clothing lines to fight fans. I got my Title MMA catalog the other day and the first 30 pages are gear and the last 70 are all cloths, like Affliction, Sinful, Sinister, Warrior Wear, Royalty, Tapout, sprawl, Spartan etc.. when does it end?

People are making $ and there's apparently a demand for it, so it likely won't end anytime soon.

I'm with Evan Tanner on this one...fighters are walking advertisements. It looks silly with covered from head to toe with all the get-up but I guess it's working.

I'm all for fighters making money. If a company wants to pay a guy so much money for wearing a shirt thats cool in my book. I just think its reaching a breaking point. How many of these companies actually support the sport of MMA?

There's a somewhat local company by me that is always at the shows. They post on local MMA forums and are true MMA fans. The nice thing is that they are actually sponsoring some local fighters who can really use the help.
The name of the company is "Bloody Buddy"

It really is out of control! As stated, I'm all for fighters being able to pay the bills and whatnot, but the sheer amount of companies is staggering. I'm actually not a big fan of a lot of the designs, too flashy and "metro-random", if that makes any sense, for me. Does anyone know of any nice, simplistic designs that may have an emphasis on grappling that isn't TapouT?

I dont like the Affliction lines. The designs remind me of Tie Dye shirts.

Nah..its all good to me. Since i have some spare cash to spend...i tot i pamper myself to some of these tees. But i avoid those Afflictions,Tapout, etc gears which i think suits better for those who are BLAF.

Anyhoo..when is FF gonna release our own Tshirt???

I was going to buy an Affliction T yesterday, I bucked up and figured I could blow the $65.00 for a T, until I seen the crap material it was made out of. It felt like it would disintigrate on the 2nd or 3rd wash. Now THAT is BS. If you are going to charge top $$$ for a T it had best at least feel like quality and not something from the Dollar Store.

I bought an Extreme Couture's Shirt and it was $45 bucks. Its pretty cool though. I cant stand though when they drink out of the empty can. It looks so stupid.

I got the "guillotine" shirt from the Submission Series of Gracie JJ t-shirts from my GF. It's made very well, looks awesome, and was like 24 bucks, can't go wrong! They got 7 different designs, from kneebar to mata-leao

I also think that it's not so much as many clothing companies, but there's no originality to it.

I mean Sprawl is original. Tapout is Original. Things start to lose meaning after a while like Crash said when theres almost a dozen different MMA clothing companies out there.

Could you possibly tell me in a message or in this thread what site you got those shirts from? I've been looking for those forever lol.

The Gracie Online Store

Have at it buddy, just make sure you don't get the guillotine one, and if you do, tell me when you're wearing it so we don't both wear it on the same day, ok????
