My changes:
NO FIGHTER-COACHES! Get rid of them. Bring in Pat Miletich, Greg Jackson, Mark Laimon, some of the Gracies, and other people that really do coach for a living. If they have had a fight career as well, then cool. Just stop the idea of choosing a fighter as a coach simply to hype a title fight. None of the fighter-coaches have been good coaches in the real sens of the word. It was all about the coaches. It should be all about the fighters.
NO MORE HOUSE! Sell that biotch. Spend some money on a condo compound where each fighter has their own place and their own space. And, for God's sake, let them have their families. Seriously, they have a million dollar mansion for the show. They cound buy 16 or 20 condos for that much, if they tossed is a little more cash. I am sure there are $50k and $75k condos that they could easily set up for the show.
TWO FIGHTS PER EPISODE! They only do two-round matches. Fill the rest of the time with BIO information and background information and footage of the fighter in their condos with their families or GFs living life.
FLUSH THE REALITY CONCEPT DOWN THE TOILET! This is MMA. This is sport. get rid of the phony Reality TV concept for the show. Get rid of the stupid fights in the house. Get rid of the drunken antics.
GET A NEW HOST! Get Dana White off the show. Let him be behind the scenes. Bring in somebody like Bas Rutten to host the show. Or, have a rotating guest host position. But, give that guy the authority that Dana White has on the show.
NO RINGERS! No fighters with more than five pro fights on the show.

Hell SUb, let's just buy them a log cabin in the middle of 5 feet of snow in nowheresville America and have carriages and horses and **** for them as equipment and the Alvin and the Chipmunks CD for entertainment.
Just like in Rocky IV
You're an animal Sub. How inhumane!

I wouldn't mind some of your changes Sub, but remember they are trying to draw in the new MMA fans not guys like us who watch UFC all the time.
They need to keep the reality angle, so there is no way the house is going anywhere! 16 fighters in the same house + Alcohol+personalities=Nielson Ratings!

It also equals stagnation. IMO, we have seen very little by way of new stuff on TUF. Sure, the fights are different. The people are different. But, the house and the antics and the stupid BS is all the same. Pee on a bed. Pee on gym equipment and wipe butt on gym equipment. Upperdeck! It's all the same sort of BS. Fight in the house? It seems they try to have one every season. Alcoholic idiotic behavior?
Every season the same stuff. It will get old. Even the Reality TV junkies will tune out. The rating have already been steadily dropping. A change is needed. They know it already because they have already started making changes.

If they are in Vegas then no, the condos will 15 to 20 condos will not equal one of those houses. The house was not on the strip, most condos in Vegas are and some cost of to 5 million. Trust me, my brother in law owns two.

NOTE: They film the entire season, then edit it, then show it. While it seems like they're focusing on specific guys as it unfolds, they know who the finalist are before we see episode 1. So they can edit the season so it looks like they 'just happened' to focus on a Mac Danzig, for example, when really they get to wait and see who they want to offer contracts to, they focus on those guys.
It IS a marketing vehicle, after all.

What if:
They split up the groups in two different houses. Also, don't let the fighters know whom they are fighting before they get in the cage. I know it sounds kind of Survivor'ish, but it would make things interesting.
As someone else stated. They could have an 'A' and 'B' class. Losers go to the 'B' class and still have a chance to win the whole show, somehow.
They could give better incentives or prizes to the winners. Like seeing family members. But that sort of defeats the purpose. The fighters should already be hungry to win.
Other than those, I can't think what 'big' change they could make.

Well, I was basing that off what I know about the cost of living here in VA, so you likely have more accurate information than I. But, even still, they could just rent apartments. Or build a special compound with bungalows (I thhink that's what they call them). Just something that is space enough for one fighter, his girlfriend or wife, and maybe a few kids for six weeks. that way the fighter is close to his family, but still secluded and sequestered.

It's part of the "reality" crap...you know...b/c it's so "real" to be cooped up in the house with people.
Alcohol yes, family no.

Yeah your right there T-Bone.
I would liek to see more info on the fighters, Like they did with Mac Danzig and Tommy Spear b4 the Finale they showed a little about there lifes, and showed tommy tranning tht was cool they should do this for each fighter b4 there fight.
Also i would like to see more from the tranning sessions with the TUF coach's, Last seasson we sae maybe 2-3mins at best why not show a good 10-15mins. What kinda cardio , techs etc and what the coachs are doing.
