I have to agree that Judo throw was sweet and what made it more sweeter is the verbal tap from Matt Hughes. I really think Matt is done and will retire.

Hughes was gracious in defeat, and that was a serious beating. Look at Hughes body. That guy must be strong. Then watch how GSP threw him around like a puppet. GSP is in a complete different level from everyone else in this sport except Anderson Silva. I would love to see a GSP-Silva match at 185 lbs.

Actually I think his sig is low class. Even I can admit that Hughes' time has passed or maybe it's more that GSP is way ahead of everyone else but I don't think one of the greatest fighters ever in the UFC deserves to be made fun of like that on a forum that supposedly prides itself in being true fans of the sport.

How is his sig line LOW Class. It is exactly what Matty Hughes was SCREAMING .. How is that any different than the sig lines on people that have Penn beating the dog mess out of Jens Pulver OR MATTY Hughes Beating the dog mess out of PENN with his hands pinned and getting punched repeatably in the head ? He screamed "tap" because his free hand was locked as well and could not physically tap. What is wrong or laughable about it? Would you rather say nothing, lose the fight with a broken arm and then need surgery?

I am no fan of Hughes but yesterday and in the build up of this fight he was classy as hell. He knew where he was getting into fighting GSP. He knew he was going to get hell and still he tried as hard as he was able. Just look at the way he started this fight compared to the previous one. At least he had determination.

Hughes was game yesterday and got beat by an incredible GSP. Then he was classy in defeat. Hat off to him.

I don't see anything wrong with it. It's the same as any other sig or avatar that shows a fighter losing. I don't see why it is considered making fun of him when it just shows him saying tap to the nice armbar that GSP applied. Imo there is nothing wrong with that.

Wow great fight, great fighter. I was hopping he will win but not total domination. But i like what Hughes says. No excuse, he was better than me. Great Gentleman. Hope to see GSP vs Serra in mtl.

I mean seriously, GSP out "Matt Hughes-ed" Matt Hughes; he has always been a great fighter but now he is taking what other guys do best and beating them at it. He will probably use BJJ and submit Serra w/ a triangle choke or something.

The best thing about GSP to me is that he is pure MMA unlike alot of these guys who have back grounds in wrestling, kickboxing, or other diciplines. The guy trains everything and is better than everyone at all aspects regardless of their back ground. Truly impressive.....

No, that sig isn't low class. Some won't like it...but that doesn't make it bad.

not much hughes could say... GSP is just a horrible matchup for him... he bases his style and the takedown, and GSP can not be taken down...
