I'm no fan, but lets be honest with ourselves. I've said this before but it deserves repeating. MH is within two years of being widely acknowledged as the best WW ever! Yes, he is nearing retirement age but I don't think he should be persuaded to retire because of his loss to GSP.
If/when he wants to retire he should move up to MW and either face Anderson Silva/Dan Henderson for the title OR more likely face his buddy Rich Franklin. That way he'll be sure to retire in a 'classy' match with a win/loss to someone he can share the spotlight with.
Do you think Ken Shamrock wanted to retire after losing to Tito? I'm sure he'd rather lose to someone at his own camp. I would.
