General Advice
Hey, being new here I went looking through this forum looking for just a general advice thread and surprisingly enough didn't find one. Possible that I missed it, in which case feel free to yell at me for being stupid. Anyway.
I figured there should be a thread dedicated to just general knowledge, any specific tips or tricks that people have learned in their time. Things to avoid. Common misconceptions and myths. Different things of that nature.
Just something to post all of the little bits of knowledge that have been handed down to or taught to you.
I myself am 16, I weigh about 150-155 depending on what day it is. I am as skinny as most people that weigh 130, and maybe a little stronger than your average guy/kid my age. I've been doing light working out all my life (albeit a short one to this point) and I've decided I would like to get more serious with it, I've started gradually working out harder. I've started taking martial arts (Ju-Jitsu) to help get me there as well as learn some skills.
My point being thus far I don't really have much to contribute myself.
That being said, feel free to dispence advice.
