Those rules look plain talkin and straight forward you can't misunderstand them unless you want too they are pretty genralized rules. However i thought in UFC rules you weren't allowed any stomping or striking to a downed opponent Wes Sims was DQ'd for stomping on Frank Mir in UFC 43. I know those rules in Pride are different altogether you can stomp to the body of a downed opponent soccer kick them in the head, now over here in the UK we have an oranisation called Cage Rage (which has the same generalized rules as above) if you get knocked down or taken down and you lay there and do nothing repetedly a little like a passivity call in wrestling the ref can declair open matt which alows the ground stomping and kicking etc so i guess it depends on which organisation you're fighting for.
