I think because they combined for 73 points within regulation time in the week 17 encounter, the bookmakers have allowed that game to greatly influence the over/under.
wow that is one high o/u...I think I'll be taking the under. Hopefully the Giants will burn a lot of clock with their running game.
I honestly think that's the missing link nobody seems to be discussing with this game. If the Giants control the clock like they did vs Green Bay? Say hello to upset of the decade.
Because everybody knows the Pats have a crazy shoot up offense. Keep that offense off the field? They're gonna shoot gatorade cups, not touchdowns.
I dont care if Eli scores just 10 points, as long as he orchestrates 80 yard drives for 23 minutes a pop like he did in Lambeau.

The Giants need to score TD's...we know the Patriots can drive against the Giants D...and we know that the Giants did a good job, last time at least, at responding...if the Giants only score 10 points, even if they have the advantage with T.O.P. ... they lose, no question...the Giants need to score TD's when they move the ball down the field...FG's probably will not be enough.

And, the Giants need to STOP allowing the opponent a final chance to win the game. The Packers and the Cowboys came close to shutting down the Giants' Super Bowl drive. If the Giants give the Patriots a chance at a TD at the end of the game for the win, then the Giants will lose (BIG TIME). The Giants must control the clock better than they have in their last five games. They need near-perfect playing to beat the near-perfect Patriots.

There is no other QB that is better in the last 2 mins of the half or the game then Brady, so yeah, the Giants better play out of their minds (like they did in week 17) but they need to close it out this time...The Giants played so well that game, it would be impressive if they could even do that again...but it can happen, especially with a front 4 like the Giants have...that could change the game in a snap.

I agree ont eh field goals. THe Chargers suffered that fate. They were able to move that ball on that questionable Patriots Defense, but ultimately too many FG's and not enought TD's, youre right.
HAd the Chargers scored TD's instead of FG's, this might be a Giants/Chargers superbowl.

The Patriots D is their weakness...but if it were on most other teams, it would be more of an asset then a liability...the Patriots D will give up rush yards but in the Red Zone they are strong. On average the patriots score 30 points or more and give up around 17 (if I remember right)...that spells success...The Chargers could have made some plays and made this a more interesting game, but getting into the "what if" scenario is endless...especially with the Giants...what if Tynes missed that last FG...what if Coach took Tynes off the field at the end of that game (remember that Tynes went out on his own to kick the game winner)...endless possibilities
There is NO way the giants will keep up with the Pats in an offensive shoot out. Even if they have long drives, they won't always end up in TD's, while the pats will score no problem. Eli will crack, picks ensue. At the end of the game, Pats win outright.

If the Giants win, then that would be the first time in NFL history that two quarterback brothers led teams to the Super Bowl in consecutive years. Man, it would be awesome for Eli to put a SB title next to Peyton's on the mantle. Archie Manning must be the proudest father on Earth right now, but imagine if the Giants win. It's a football family dynasty. If it were not real, then I would say it could only happen in a movie.
Ya thats right. The biggest bet in the history of the Fight Forum.
2.5 million on Giants to cover. I told you snowpatrol i was coming for you

I am not sure how it will come out for me, but I went ahead and bet on all the odds. The 10/1 and 6/1 and 7/2 and so forth, just to see what happens with the points.
