What you said about Matsui, you could also say about Schembri. "Nino" gained so much respect for me when he KTFO'd Sakuraba in their first fight after beaing beatdown for what seemed like the longest time. "Nino" is probably one of the best on the ground in straight Jiu-Jitsu. MMA isn't his strong point, but don't disregard him because his record is 3-3. He is badass on the ground.

Well that's what I was shooting for. You can't really expect that much from him in a MMA fight. I'm not bashing him though because I have seen a bit of his grappling as well and he definitely is BA on the ground. I don't disregard him he just isn't someone that fans who aren't as familiar with the ground game will get excited about. But see with Daijiro, he is someone who usually ends up getting beat but he puts on exciting fights even to the casual fan because he is damn tough to submit and can roll with just about anyone, he'll go toe to toe with guys who have better stand up than him and he has (or had, since I haven't seen him in a while) amazing cardio so he battles it out like a warrior to the end. That's what I love about Matsui and that is almost for sure a good fight.
