Fight Forum Rankings

After last event was really looking foward to the rankings.....

Heavyweight
1.) Antonio Rodrigo Nogueira : New champ & very deserving of top spot
2.) Tim Sylvia : tough loss against Nog but still top 2
3.) Brandon Vera : Good fighter but lack-luster against Tim
4.) Cheick Kongo : Not very well rounded but he wins
5.) Andrei Arlovski : Very talented but inactivity hurts him
6.) Fabricio Werdum : Nice win over Napo moves him up
7.) Frank Mir : Nice win over inexperienced Lesnar,stays top 10 if really back
8.) Jake O’Brien : Beat Arlovski he climbs list boring or not
9.) Heath Herring : Beat Kongo and earn possible 2-3 spots up
10.) Gabriel Gonzaga : Back to back losses casuses drop

Lt Heavyweight
1.) Quinton Jackson : He is the champ
2.) Lyoto Machida : Deserves title shot w/o Tito fight
3.) Kieth Jardine : He beat Chuck what can I say
4.) Forrest Griffin : He has earned a top 5 spot, title shot should tell alot
5.) Chuck Liddel : win over Wandy has him back in the mix
6.) Wanderlei Silva : Showed great heart in loss, he will be back
7.) Rashad Evans : He did beat Bisping (not sayin much though)
8.) Thiago Silva : He was impressive against HA
9.) Mauricio Rua : Unproven as of now, beat Chuck and that changes
10.) Matt Hammil : Unlimited potential but still needs experience

Middleweight
1.) Anderson Silva : Champ, super-match w/ Hendo next
2.) Dan Henderson : finally someone to rank ahead of Rich besides Silva
3.) Rich Franklin : still great fighter just not strong enough for Dan
4.) Yushin Okami : Strong consistent fighter, never dominated even in loss
5.) Nathan Marquardt : Well rounded fighter nice win over Horn
6.) Chris Leben : Need to see him in more fights
7.) Jason McDonald : moves up in Kampman's spot b/c of inactivity
8.) Patrick Cote : Impressive win over Mcfredries, he is on role
9.) Michael Bisping : McCarthy match really wont say much unless he loses
10.) Ed Herman : tough gritty fighter must show alot to move up

Welterweight
1.) GSP : the best out if 2 w/ a title; best WW in the world IMHO
2.) Matt Serra : beat GSP again and he will top this list
3.) Jon Fitch : I believe he is the 2nd best all-round fighter in WW
4.) Josh Koscheck : Still top 4 after loss
5.) Matt Hughes : tough as nails but out-classed by GSP
6.) Diego Sanchez : Okay so he is staying, now time to prove worth
7.) Karo Parisian : as skilled as anyone on list (lack luster win in 78)
8.) Marcus Davis : He has to beat someone above him to move up
9.) Mike Swick : Above Josh only b/c he won, not impressive at all
10.) Josh Burkman : Unimpressive loss even worse than unimpressive win


Lightweight
1.) BJ Penn : Left no doubt who is the #1 LW
2.) Roger Huerta : shows heart and determination in win over Guida
3.) Joe Stevenson : completely outclassed by BJ but still solid fighter
4.) Kenny Florian : Win against Lauzon and earn some respect
5.) Tyson Griffin : Not very impressive in last win but he is due 1 bad fight
6.) Clay Guida : good hard nosed LW
7.) Thiago Tavares : Good win maintains spot
8.) Nate Diaz : impressive win at fight nite
9.) Manny G : the guy is a spark plug, nice win in Jan.
10.) Matt Danzig : exceptional technical fighter, upcoming fight gets him going
