20. Rickson Gracie (claims to have won over 400 fights without a loss) the supposedly undefeated in all competitions has at least one loss from the 1993 U.S. Sambo Championships in Norman, Oklahoma, where he was defeated by American Ron Tripp by Total Victory via uchi-mata in 45 seconds. Rickson disputed this loss, claiming he was misinformed of the rules of the event.(props cavar)

Here is another interesting fact. Kimbo Slice is the distant cousin of Rhadi Ferguson who is an Olympian in Judo and friends with Jeff Monson. They spoke in the cage after Kimbo KO'd Tank Abbott. Maybe we'll see Kimbo do some Judo in the future.

That is an interesting list of facts. I liked this bit about Big Nogueira:18. Antonio Rodrigo "Minotauro" Nogueira doesn't lose fights he just runs out of time, 4 losses in 36 fights all decisions.(props to jrb655) I like a champion that is hard to finish. And, I think that Big Nog is also hard to dominate completely. A lot of his wins might have been called as Nog having been dominated had he lost the fight instead of winning. I mean, if Sylvia KO'd Nog or, G-D forbid, submitted Big Nog, then that fight might have been called a dominating win for Sylvia.4. At the pre-fight staredown between Quinton Jackson and Igor Vovchanchyn at PRIDE 22, Rampage gave Igor a note allegedly from his mother that said, "Please don't hurt my son."(props bullitt68)
3. In the pre-fight staredown between Josh Barnett and Mark Hunt, while the referee was issuing the rules, Barnett added, "No flying ass drops."(props bullitt68) LOL. Those are the two funniest facts on that list. Rampage is just too awesomely funny to be just an MMA fighter. He should be a commentator like the way Randy Couture has done. And, I think that Rampage has a post-MMA future in comedy acting in movies, LOL. And, hey, we could always add more facts to this list by posting them in this thread

It's kind of a stupid claim to make AFTER the fight is finished... I mean, maybe Mir allowed Lesnar to deliver a hard punch to the face and take him down so that he could avenge fellow UFC Heavyweight Tim Sylvia's loss to Andrei Arlovski via Achilles lock

The Evan Tanner Triangle Choke fact is surprising. I went to Sherdog and it say he won by Triangle Choke nine times. Nine times is the record for Triangle chokes? It seems like it would be a lot more than that.

I looked at Evan Tanner's wins on sherdog also, and I found it funny that 10 years ago he beat Heath Herring by submission........(exhaustion) ..... that's a new one. Who gives up because their tired?

That's classic! I didn't see that! Did they fight in a sauna that day?
Come to think of it, wasn't "submission by verbal exhaustion" how Eddie Sanchez beat Soa Palelei?

"Don't hurt my son." Wow, what do you do with that? Anyone capable of that level of premeditated humor is frightening.
