I'm sure there's some kind of non competition clause in UFC contracts that would prevent guys from legally competing in non UFC events. Granted, it would probably be a public nightmare if they tried to block say, GSP from competing for the Canadian national team, or say Sokoudjou from being on Cameroon's judo team or something, but I bet they'd be able to win that court case.
Nah, most likely the only way GSP would be able to do that is if he let his UFC contract expire and then did the wrestling thing.
