Default I tapped a Purple Belt
I know, it might not sound like much. I'm a blue belt under a Rigan Machado Black belt, but I felt really good today.

This particular purple belt has basically kicked my ass for 2 years.

Today, I simply hung on. I have 15 lbs on him, but today I decided to go for a ride.

He swept, I hung on. He slapped some arm-bars on, I hung on and spun out.

He even got me in perfect position for a gogo, and he attempted it, but I stuffed it and got the **** out of dodge.

He even laughed during saying he shouldnt be trying black belt level BJJ moves.

Anyway, somehow he has his leg right in front of my face.

I'm a blue belt and really not that mobile, but am very strong, so something clikcked saying

"Grab that leg and tweak"

hahaha. I started going all Hermes Franca on his leg and he tapped.

I laughed, he laughed and I even asked him "Did you give it to me?"

And he said.

NOpe, You reversed well and "YOU GOT IT"


I'm so stoked right now, that the rest of the day went well, because I'm not that great off my back.

Anyway.

Thought I'd share. Forgive me.

It was just a straight leg lock I got him caught in upside down. I went for a reverse straight armbar which he pulled out of and tried to spin, so I sorta spun with him and somehow his right leg got in between my thighs and I was like "WTF, grab his ankle now" and I arched and he tapped.

It was just fun because he's far better than me, and it's like they say in BJJ, it's a chess match and you sometimes get opportunities that you don't expect and you have to capitalize on them to win.

It was very gratifying becaue this guy has easily tapped me like 35 times in the last 2 years.

i tapped a blue belt in my second week of bjj lol

we were rolling and somehow i ended up getting a kimura and i asked "did you just give me that?" and he said "well i didnt think you knew what you were doing so i didnt defend it and went for something else but you got me"

haha
