It looks like that article agreed with me.

“The existence of an actual contract between HDNet Fights and Couture is believed to be key to the company’s action in Texas,” Swift reported. “Without it, it is unlikely that the court would find an actual controversy ripe for adjudication.“

Now that we know about that contract, it changes things. However, I highly doubt that any injucntions will be placed on the UFC/Zuffa. in fact, I expect it to be the other way around. The UFC/Zuffa will get an injunction to prevent Randy Couture from fighting for HD Net.

I forsee a long legal battle that goes on for years. So much so that by the time it is done very few people will even be interested in Fedor-Couture. IMO, Cuban is just making things worse and he will make it go on for much, much longer than it should have.

Just let the UFC and Couture sort out their own business.
