Now, as far as GSP goes... What you are saying is like justifying Fedor not taking on the big names to keep accumulating wins. A loss to Silva would be no big deal for GSP. If he is now back where he was before losing to Serra, a defeat against Silva would not in any way condition his future in the UFC or the sport for that matter. The basic difference between GSP and Louiseau is in the head, and GSP's is in a much better place that Louiseau's.

See, I'm still not sold on his frame of mind. I think he's gotta get through Serra first, convincingly, before he's the "GSP of old." We've seen the highs and lows of GSP, and he seems to be swayed fairly easily. Suffering a defeat to Silva in the same manner Silva walked through Franklin, would most certainly be a huge setback and at this point and I'm convinced Silva would do just that. GSP has yet to face anyone that he's not capable of beating and I'm curious to see how he'd handle it (getting destroyed by Anderson). I for one think it would ruin him.
