If Shamrock hadnt been such a hardhead about keeping the fight standing, I dont see him losing.

Well i'm not in a position to say how effective is kicks were in terms of hurting frank,but sometimes kicks are used to offset an imminent attack or to set something up.What i will say that there were a few kicks that would have knocked anyone else out that landed on shamrock especially the one that took his mouth piece out.One to the ribs made me feel sick.
I think it's fair to say that cung is probably the best kicks in mma.If that wasn't even close to fight of the year what was.
In terms of significance, back and forth , obvious underdog winning i think it
has a good shout for fight of the year.
By the way frank did try to take him down on numerous occasions but failed.
