That's why I understand Serra. Serra said ont he Countdown show "We were respectful to each other after the fight and before. It wasnt until after I won that I heard all these excuses come out and that's why I flipped and screw him I'm not gonna apologize. He should apologize to me for making so many excuses".
I really hate excuses, esp after the fact. If it were before the fight and GSP said he couldnt fight because of personal issues? Of course I'd be all out in support of him to get his head straight.
But again, when a freakin 10 to 1 underdog basically Knocks You The Hell Out in front of 20,000 people?
THEN you say "Oh my head wasnt there, my cousin got killed, my dad was sick, etc."? I mean God Bless ya, but why didnt you pull out the fight beforehand? I'd respect you more GSp if you simply said what I KNOW really happened. You thought Serra was gonna be easy so you didnt do what you had to.
That's kinda nonsense in my opinion.
