Didn't they show Forrest screaming at the ref about something illegal in the pre episode thingy ?

Yup...I thought illegal upkicks were gonna be the culprit.

The controversial fight.

I think the kid would have won going away if he kept the fight standing and striking. He hits very hard, has good quickness, and a nice jab. Going to the ground was a rookie mistake......

Yea, I don't really get what they did there. Forrest was screaming about illegal moves in the previews, but I didn't even hear Forrest yell anything like that during the match.

I was hoping Chipper would've won too. Tim was too much of a drama queen with all his pre-fight hype.

Yeah Forrest must yell that in a later match because we would have heard him screaming like that and the only thing that was illegal in this fight was the one upkick which was nothing to get worked up over.

I heard someone yell, "Illegal!" during the upkick, and I think it did hurt Credeur, by the way. That's where his cut came from in the 2nd, and it really turned the tide of that round. I think without that upkick, Riddle never even gets an opportunity to screw up by taking Credeur down.

Riddle's got a lot of talent, but he was dominated in this fight, and I'm glad he lost, because if he had won, there would have been a LOT more controversy about those upkicks.

Also, I wasn't paying a lot of attention, but I know Forrest was screaming "illegal!" at the top of his lungs during the Riggs fight to get into the house. Doesn't seem like they'd re-use that footage, though.

This is what I love about TUF. Seeing guys make mistakes and hopefully learn from them.

Credeur wasn't as impressive as both teams seem to think he is. Against Riddle he got taken down AND mounted easily. Sure, Riddle is strong, that's why he was able to pivot and reverse Credeur's takedowns as well as assert his own. But as a "seasoned" jujitsu fighter, Credeur was having a noticeably tough time defending the takedown, plus his standup wasn't going anywhere. The rest of Rampage's team noticed this.

Wait and watch, Credeur's going to get his block knocked off. AND, if you guys noticed, once Rampage began shouting at Riddle to let Credeur stand up, Riddle was TRYING to untangle himself but his hands were tied up and his legs were tangled up too. I think Riddle was fighting out of instinct but in all fairness, he looked like he was disengaging like Rampage was telling him to.

I'm pulling for Credeur (since he is from my area) however I was saying "enough" with all of his pre-fight talk about "his share of the battles...his share of the wars." It was getting really annoying...like he was reading from a script.

I doubt he will make it to the end. If he is as good as he thinks he is he should have dominated the other guy which he didn't and guys like CB will overpower him.

I liked the episode. I knwo Rampage isnt doing well, but like he said, this is his first time coaching and one thing I noticed about him that impresses me even more about him?

He's telling his fighters to stay away from the opponents strengths. I know that's a simple observation, but I think in this modern day of MMA, alot of fighters trick themselves into thinking that their BJJ is good enough or their striking is good enough to endure. It's not. That fight with Chipper and Credeur was a good example. Chipper was overconfident in his submissin defense.

He shouldve listened to Ramapge and others who said to keep it standing, but instead the kid tried to overconfidently rely on strength and wrestling. I think even he realized that when he admitted wrestling was his second nature.

It's difficult to be a good MMA fighter. Too many things to worry about in modern MMA. Fightes like Rampage keep it simple. Use your strengths, stay away from your opponents strengths.

I love that simplicity. And unfortunately, I dont think Rampage's fighters yet realize that.

Chipper was very strong and he had some very good wrestling. It was Tim's ability to get the butterfly guard and get sweeps that saved him. I do not think he was expecting the Chipper to be as strong as he was.

Gotta love that part where someone added "Driver's license" and "A picture of my mom" to Riddle's request form And vandalizing Credeur's locker room sign with "Brown Nose".

Definitely some top quality, harmless shenanigans, just like I like them.

I read somewhere else that Riddle was the national high school wrestling champ his senior year. Would go a long way in explaining why Credeur had such trouble preventing the takedown.

Riddle was good, but his personality to me? He seemed to me like what I think Tim Sylvia would be high
