He's telling his fighters to stay away from the opponents strengths. I know that's a simple observation, but I think in this modern day of MMA, alot of fighters trick themselves into thinking that their BJJ is good enough or their striking is good enough to endure. It's not. That fight with Chipper and Credeur was a good example. Chipper was overconfident in his submissin defense.

He shouldve listened to Ramapge and others who said to keep it standing, but instead the kid tried to overconfidently rely on strength and wrestling. I think even he realized that when he admitted wrestling was his second nature.

It's difficult to be a good MMA fighter. Too many things to worry about in modern MMA. Fightes like Rampage keep it simple. Use your strengths, stay away from your opponents strengths.

I love that simplicity. And unfortunately, I dont think Rampage's fighters yet realize that.
