Diaz, who was to face former King of Pancrase Katsuya Inoue in a Welterweight elimination fight for the title has been yanked from the card because Shaw believes that his bout which was to take place this coming Sunday in Japan would be too close to his EliteXC bout with Muhsin Corbbrey on June 14th.
