Yeah, actually, you are correct on Brock's eye. He has double vision or something. Read about that a while ago. The reason I think he should fight Americans is a business one. Haye will become a bigger name if he fights Rahman, Briggs even Peter (Nigerian I know but a pretty respected name in the States) etc than Poevkin, Ibragimov, Chaglev. I believe Wlad would fight him in a heartbeat if the HBO PPV bandwagon was all over Haye (which it undoubtably would If he beat Peter or Rahman) Its the same problem Cotto has in getting PBF. He's not yet a big marquee star.
Haye for me is the new hope for heavyweight boxing. He has speed, power and exciting "Left elbow onto the chest followed by a big overhand right style" and likes to get at people. He is charasmatic and always good for a soundbite. He is very marketable to a mainstream audience. Big, good looking lad who can fight and is in shape! I hope he fights, and beats Wlad (who in fairness, ticks all the above boxes in terms of marketability, but always flatters to decieve when it counts! His near admission after his performance against Ibragimov, that he knew it was a boring fight, but he would rather protect himself, fight boring and win over 12 horrible rounds than risk injury and defeat, left a sour taste in a lot of fans mouths! Wlad could have become a superstar that night with an impressive performance. The boxing world was dying for a dominant champion! But he didnt deliver when it mattered! Therefore, I hope its Hayes time! He is young, hungry and understands the business of the sport
