Rescue Dawn- I am a huge Werner Herzog fan i while this movie is good it differs from his previous efforts. Not a bad thing but for me it was too much of a change for me, at least in my initial viewing. 8/10
the acting from andre 3000 and big boi was much better than i expected and i liked how even though it was a musical the songs didnt consume the entire movie, there was enough room for them to make a good attempt at the story. unfortunately even though im an outkast fan the songs were only average and the story was much worse
Iron Man 10/10 - Awesome flick, that I didnt expect to like. Great movie.
I'm going to see Red Belt today, but have to travel 15 minutes to see it becaue it's not showing in all theatres. I understand the director is accomplished, so I'm hoping it's going to at least be worth the drive.

great performance from one of my favourite actors denzel. i thought the opening sequencing was a bit odd, i would have preferred if they just started the movie with lasner (sp?) going to the book sale. it dragged a bit towards the end and the final courtroom scene wasnt that spectacular. im more enthralled every episode of boston legal. that said it was in an interesting story with an excellent lead acting performance

That was a decent flick
But my all time Denzel movie was Training Day. Of all his other great movies t hat were maybe better stories? Denzel as the actor IMO did the best in Training Day because he played a character opposite the usual good guy he is.

the story of william wilberforce is quite an interesting one. i thought ioan gruffud acted well enough but i didnt like his characterisation of wilberforce. i felt that a lot of the dialogue was done over and over again just worded differently as there were very few plot developments. the romance story seemed like an after though and didnt contribute much to the film. the ending left much to be desired as well. points are given for decent acting, an alright concept and the appearance of one of my favourite musicians, youssou n'dour

Stardust- another high budget fantasy flick. This one just happens to be good fun without alot of elaborate plot twists or subject matter. 8/10
Man from Earth- a low budget science fiction flick about a man who claims to be 14,000 years old. A movie that really can make you think unless you are easily offended by alternate views of who Jesus was. 9/10
