I agree! Thats crazy, I was actually about to post the exact same thing before you did. I played Round 2 last night (PBF v Cotto
), for the first time in ages and was amazed how fast it is compared to round 3. Combinations are faster and look more realistic.
The career mode is far better as well. With the rankings etc
The only thing better in round 3 is the variety of fighting bases and styles.
I also noticed something I hadn't noticed before, that the glove choices in R2 are better. Grant, Reyes(the puncher's choice) and Everlast are all in there. R3 gives you Dodge??? UnderArmour(They dont make gloves to my knowledge) and EA Brand. Its a small thing, but to boxing fans, it makes a hell of a difference.
