They haven't really warmed up to MMA as a whole yet. Just listening to some of the phrases they use leads me to believe that.

Yeah it's funny, I think they mentioned she had done Muay Thai, but then they turned around and acted like she was some complete n00b. I also didn't like how they ended the segment by trying to imply that she only got into fighting to try and springboard to Hollywood.
