Default Wanderlei Silva Question??

Here one question. I love this fighter a lot. But after is lost against Chuck. We see him train with Couture and now people start to say, is gonna be better and learn the cage.

But I just watch the UFC All Access with im and he's sparring with Shawn Tompkins and he a part of Team Xtreme Couture.

So my question is. Wand was training with Couture before is fight with Chuck or only after ?

And train only with Shawn Tompkins ?.

Thx

before the chuck fight he was just using randy's gym and claims to have only trained with him once before randy left for africa to shoot his movie. that when he brought shawn tompkins in.. after his lose... maybe a week or so he started going to xtreme couture's fight team gym practices claiming he was still just working on opening his on gym... then a week after that he said he has a lot to learn and is looking forward to being on coutures team.

He trained some with Randy before the Chuck fight.

It's still there in Brazil. Wanderlei Silva has moved to the US to live in the US. He wants to train close to where he will fight. I think a few Chute Boxe guys came with Silva. And, we saw at the last PPV that Thompkins is a good coach and a good cornerman.

Chute Boxe just keeps losing guys.

First their big stars, Wandy and the Rua brothers.
And now that Thiago Silva is on the brink of stardom, he jumps ship as well.

Spider Silva and Big Nog are opening a new gym (Iron House?) in Miami. Look for it to compete with Xtreme Couture and ATT very soon for best MMA gym in the US.

Now that would be an awesome combination of skills, Anderson Silva's striking with Nog's ground game .... sort of like the Shamrock/Smith Alliance in the early days

BTW Silva vs St Pierre would be awesome!! Silva use to fight at 170 and GSP is a big WW that could probably do well even at 185 so its not impossible

I assume the same. I don't think (but I could be wrong) that their gym has any relationship with either of the ATT camps in Florida, which leads me to believe that he has branched off. You would think that if he wanted an ATT branded gym, he would have one. I haven't read anything about a falling out with Bustamante or anything like that, but it is easy to imagine that they might steal some Brazillian talent that might otherwise go up to Coconut Creek.
