He's saying in the long term it could hurt you. Just as many power-lifters often have heart problems later in life. In the short term their hearts do very well too, but because of prolonged extreme pressures on the vessels and mechanisms of the heart they often have problems later on in life. Even Arnold had to have heart valve repair a few years back.

why even bother? Sounds like a waste. I take some whey, BCAA's, vit e, vit c and green tea before hand and get plenty of boost.

I agree. I am not a fan of the supplements that promise to rev you up before a workout with the exception of caffiene.

its not that it "promises" anything... ive taken it, and it works... its not a big deal, but i deem it to be worth the money.. its not that expensive and makes some type of a difference so i go with it... n02 had some side effects i didnt like, n30 isnt a huge deal, helps out and thats what i go with.

That's cool. I was just thinking that if NO2 had/has side effects and N30 doesn't, but is much weaker than NO2, would it really be worth dropping the chalupa for it? I guess, I'm thinking if it's much weaker...does it really deliver as advertised or deliver to make a huge difference for me...when training. I used to use 2 Ephedrine, 1 aspirin, and half a Vivarin 30-45 mins before working out. And, there was no doubts that it worked. But people got stupid with their usage of Ephedrine, started O'Ding on it and got it banned for those of us who used it right. Somebody always ruins it...oh well.

yeah, while you do use it correct and know your body well enough to use it, many dont.... at the right times and doses it can be good for a more advanced lifter\athlete, but for just your average kid who doesnt understand it may want to steer clear...
i like n30... whether its physical or mental it gives me great lifts and workout days with 0 side effects... maybe it doesnt do what it says (not even sure what it promises) its lower doses is just the right amount for me and have seen great results

That's for sure. I knew guys who would take like 16 tabs at once...which was just stupid. A lot of people like them because they doubled as a fat burner. I like them because that combination flipped my switch and made me psycho in the weight room. A lot of those guys, I knew, who abused Ephedrine also juiced. They just didn't get that there's no substitute for hard work. They were so jealous of my lifting partner and I because they knew we were juice free and that we put their lifts to shame.

The problem that i understood to be the root of the ephedrine disaster was that manufacturers used extracts that were tens of times more powerful than what Chinese medicine recommended. No herbalist in thier right mind would have used a concentrated extract. They always used the whole plant. In my opinion its just another case of a product working too well.
The time that i actually had the most enegy for workouts was when i stopped using stimulants, stopped drinking soft drinks/Redbull etc.. Stopped eating refined foods. I drank lots of teas, mostly green and herbal,no black. Lots of water and whole foods. I felt incredible. I eventually fell back into the rut of eating like crap. That happens when you work in a place that specializes in selling crap food like a grocery store.

I had been taking Green Tea Tablets, BCAA's, vit E, Vit C, and aspirin before workouts along with Whey. Now, I'm using Xyeince's Xelerate instead of the Green Tea tabs...buildingbrawn.com had a sale on them for $4.95 so I thought I'd try them for a while.

Dont rely on all these gimmicks to make you BIIIGGG. Just use multivitamins, fish oils, proper rest, and a healthy/clean diet.
If you put in the work, you will get results.
Also remember, if you arent gaining mass, it does not mean you are not getting stronger. I am pretty thin (5'8'' 145 lbs) but I can lift just as much as the bigger guys. I rather be small and STRONG than LARGE and weak, especially when it comes to weight divisions.
