Edgar won it in dominant fashion. For the exception of a couple of a flurries that fight was all Edgar.

yeah I lost a bunch of points on Hermes but I like Frankie so Im glad he was able to dominate tonight

Yup, good job by "The Answer". Hermes couldn't do much - ring rust plus Edgar looked real sharp not giving him much of an opportunity (except for that one strong sub attempt and the shot toward the end).

I was going to put points on Frankie but chickened out cause I thought Hermes would put in a much better showing. Man I'm regretting that. Frankie was totally awesome and is quickly becoming one of my favourites. Awesome fight!

Granted, he definitely lost the match, but by the end of the third Hermes looked to be more fresh than Edgar.

If Franca could've stuffed the takedown, this match would've been a lot closer.

Great match though. Really starting to enjoy the LW division more and more.

i would have to disagree, and im a huge hermes fan

Hermes finished much stronger and landed some of the most significant stuff in the fight

but Edgar was completely outworking franca the entire round...if edgar looked the worse for wear than did hermes it was because of the knee and final flurry

but Hermes definitely fared well, he just didnt have as many openings to get submissions or sweep as he thought he would get

frankie is one of my favourite fighters. seeing this fight and his win over tyson griffin makes me wonder how he got dominated by gray maynard but maybe we can just expect really big things from maynard

Frankie did his thing in this fight. I though Hermes was going to out muscle him but Edgar had a great gameplan and executed it well. It was a dominating performance no doubt.
