So if Tito has a three fight contract... and they're leaning towards a Griffen vs Tito, a rematch with Shamrock and more than likely a title bout.
This is why:
Griffen vs Tito. Everyone loves Griffen, he's pretty silly and has a KO or get KOed attitude, good for him... glad everything is working out for him. Anyways, he's a pretty decent name anymore, regardless if Tito thinks so. This will be a big fight and will pull lots of viewers. Hell, I'll watch it with a smile.
Tito vs Shamrock. I think it was a good business idea to have the TUF coaches fight one another at the end. Since the idea behind TUF is to bring in new fighters, and more specifically new viewers this will be a big fight. Tito and Shamrock are both TV oriented personalities. Anyone who knows anything about MMA knows who these two clowns are. I think it's a stupid fight personally... Tito is gonna walk all over him just like he did last time, but probably worse. Regardless of it being a good fight I'm sure it'll bring the ratings.
Tito gets title shot. Why? He doesn't deserve it, but he'll get it. Why? Because he can't earn the title shot. If he had to fight Babalu... who I feel is the top contender (after the 4th of course), he'd lose. If he has to fight the loser of Chuck and Randy for the shot, he will
surely lose. So, I think they'll just give it to him. Why? Because he's Tito and he's huge. Regardless if he has a chance of winning or not, Tito in a title match is big money for Zuffa/White. Expect to see this happen.
