Exactly. If Tito beats Griffin and Shamrock, who else will deserve a shot at the LHW championship? Babalu will get the Chuck/Randy winner, and then Tito will be next. I don't think Randy or Chuck should get another shot before Tito. They will have battled three times by then, that will be old news.
After Babalu gets his shot, Tito is the obvious choice for many reasons. Who else would it be? It won't be Griffin or Shamrock if Tito beats them. There isn't anyone else to be honest. It won't be Bonnar, Sinosic, or anyone else.
Whether you guys like it or not, Tito did get the win against Vitor, and if he beats Griffin and Shamrock in his next two fights, that will give him 4 quality victories in a row. That is deserving as far as I'm concerned. He won't have to go through Babalu first because Babalu will already have gotten his shot hopefully.
I personally think Tito beat Belfort clearly, and I'm a fan of both. So there isn't any favoritism there. I don't know as much as some of you do, but I thought it was an obvious win by Tito. And it was obviously good enough for 2 of the 3 judges.
Tito will be deserving after wins over Griffin and Shamrock. I have no doubt at all about that.
That being said, getting past Griffin isn't guaranteed. I'll just be happy when Tito starts fighting.
