After his recent knock out of Japanese fighter Nakamura in the main event of Pride GP's 2nd round, Wanderlei Silvaimpressed everybody during the press conference, saying more words about his young teammate 'Shogun' than about his own fight: 'Today is a very special day for all of us. You have the oportunity to see the birth of my successor. I wont fight forever, and Shogun proved today that he has everything to be Chute Boxe's no1 representative in the future', said Mr. Silva, who was sporting a small diamond on his front tooth. 'In the next phase, I will bring a bigger one', guaranteed the Chute Boxer.
In the lockerroom of Saitama Arena gymnasium, Wanderlei was still very impressed with his pupil's fight against Minotouro. 'Today was his biggest test. Until today, all his fights were really fast. He had never being knocked down or passed thru difficult moments during a fight, and today, in this amazing fight against Minotouro, he impressed even me. He did the best fight of the night, showing more heart than anyone could have imagined. From now on I'm even more of a fan of Shogun than I was before', said Wand, getting his pupil moved. 'What can I say after hearing such a words from my idol?' answered Shogun.
Talking about the next phase, Wanderlei said He would rather face Overeem. 'I like to provide great fights for the fans and I believe Overeem thinks like myself. It's going to be a striking battle and I believe I can knock him out with my knees', guaranteed Silva.

I hope If Silva Fights Shogun he fights him 100% and not go easy on him or let him win the GP because if he does I'm gonna be out alot of points.

Silva canīt reign for ever.. Shogun is 24.. everything is pointing to him being a dominant force in Pride.
Silva might pull off his last great victory against him.. and take the title. But the future belongs to Shogun.

Forevers a long time man, Silva already has many doubters of being the best Light Heavyweight in the world, Untill he faces some better fighters or perhaps fights a UFC fighter, his chances of reigning forever are preety slim, I want to see him face Mirko one more time, give Chuck his shot, and then perhaps beat Shogun which honestly I dont think he can do at the time, Rua is gonna be pound for pound the man to beat, then you can claim for reigning forever..
Real Talk ..
