I like Diego and have enjoyed his fights, but I think his rematch with Kos would be the same and Kos's with GSP would be the same. Ahhh, the circle of life. I hope I am wrong about Diego though.

Diego certainly puts on some exciting fights but if he can't get past Kos then he doesn't have a chance against GSP. Unfortunately for him those guys will be around a while.

Diego had alot of potential after winning TUF. Problem is, he did'nt evolve his game and others like Kos and Kenny Florian did. They've both surpassed the accomplishments of Diego at this point. When Diego did finally start to mix it up he got that KO over Joe Riggs and suddenly thought he was the next CroCop, saying that he was going to be knocking people out. He lost to Koscheck and then to Fitch. And since then has two good wins over much lesser opponents. Something has to happen to for Diego to break through to the top of the division.

The nightmare is back. nobody in that division can stop him. he may lose a crappy decision here and there but when he wins he wins. can't wait to see him beat Alves and get his shot at the title. He deserves it.

Let me guess, your from New Mexico? He does'nt deserve anything, except the right to fight for money. He's a freakin douche bag that got lucky.

I think, just like with Brian Stann, Diego Sanchez NEEDED to lose a few fights. That happened, and now he has to LEARN from those losses. I think that he has and that we will see a lot better technique and newer technique (such as even more improved boxing and striking). He has all the physical tools and the mental tools to beat any fighter out there in his weight class. And, I feel that Sanchez would destroy Koscheck in a third match (they are 1-1 against each other). GSP? That's a different hill to climb. But, I want to see that match eventually.

I've always thought that Diego had potential since coming off TUF. The undefeated record was besides the point. A few losses never hurt anyone in this sport. In fact, like you said, some fighters need to lose in order to get better. Anderson Silva isn't undefeated, GSP isn't undefeated and they are two of the best in the world. Diego is still young and improving, hopefully he can improve enough to break into that upper level of the 170lb. ranks.
