Default Floyd Mayweather vs Ricky Hatton. What's the hold up?

Hatton is the only guy out there that can test, and beat Mayweather. Hatton can pressure Mayweather. This would be a great fight. What's the hold up on this fight?

I agree. I definitely want to see it. Everyone got all excited about Mayweather/Judah, but that has dwindled somewhat because of Judah's shocking loss last month.

Mayweather/Hatton is where the money really is. Hatton hasn't been beaten yet has he? That has to be a big-seller in its own right.

Hatton has never been defeated, Thrash.
I don't know what people are expecting from the Mayweather-Judah fight other than big bucks and a one-sided beating, to be honest.

Think Hatton picked up another cut above his left eye in his last fight, aint 100% but i think he's had op to cure it, he's been prone to some nasty cuts in the past.

Do white men cut easier than black men do? I think their skins are different.

No i think he's just boney round his eyes, he's always been prone to cuts above and around his eyes.

imo i dont think hatton can beat mayweather. im not a real big pbf fan but he is on his own level. hatton got nailed by KT alot in their fight and if they were power shots from mayweather he would have went down

I am also not a fan of pbf but he has some fast hands and combo. I don't think Hatton can get him clean to KO mayweather.

Alot of boxers are looking at Mayweather also such as Sugar Shane Mosley, which might be a better fight than Hatton, imo. They both have speed and power.

I like Sugar Shane Mosley, but I don't think he could hang with Floyd Mayweather anymore. I think Hatton would put a lot of pressure on Mayweather and possibly catch him or win by decision. I do think Mayweather would win either fight, but I think Hatton could beat him possibly. I don't think Mosley could.

As for people wanting him, Oscar De La Hoya also wants Mayweather I believe. He wants to fight Mayweather as his last fight I guess. Floyd Mayweather Sr. helps train De La Hoya, so it could make for some interesting stories anyway. I think PBF would KO Oscar as well. But I'd like to watch it.

In other words, PBF is the man right now!

I don't think PBF would KO Oscar maybe win by decision. And if they do fight, Oscar and PBF, this would be interesting.

I have to see how Oscar do with Ricardo and if he is, performance wise, the same as before then i would say Oscar will beat PBF.

But if he doesn't perform good since Oscar had a long lay off, then I would say PBF will beat Oscar.

Well, Oscar De La Hoya did an interview over at IGN Sports, since Oscar is on the cover of Fight Night Round 3 for the XBox 360. It asked him about his future, and Oscar said he would fight his upcoming fight and then one more. He said he wanted to fight Mayweather to end his career as champ or something like that.

It would be fun to see two big names mix it up, that's for sure. But I hate all this "win the belt and retire" talk. If you can win the belt, you still have enough skill to defend that darn thing.
