Tito speaks to his fans...
Quote:
Posted: Fri Jul 15, 2005 12:11 pm Post subject: To all my Fans
I want thank all my fans for the support. There have been a lot of rumors going around about me. Some are true and some are BS. The one about the Vegas channel is in full force. My fight show will not be happening due to outside sabotage. But it wont stop my quest to make MMA grow. I will be fighting before the year is over. So Stay Tuned!!!!!

It sounds like Tito plans on fighting before the year is out. Where do you peeps think he'll end up? Pride? UFC?

I want him to go to the UFC - but hes probably still mad and will be fighting in Pride or something. King of the Cage, I dont know. Wherever it is, Ill be watching, waiting for him to cry after his defeat again. I want him to have a Liddel, Couture and Belfort rematch. Whoop'em yall!

if he goes to king of cage, king of cage will look like a total circus, i lost all respect for them when i saw the rigged fight with Butter Bean, tito should stay with the UFC because he draws crowds, winning or losing.

I think Tito should drop down to middleweight. Randy lost two straight fights at heavyweight and people thought he was all washed up. Then Randy dropped down to light heavyweight and he's seen a career resurgence as a result. I think the same would be true for Tito but he's probably too cocky to make that move. Rich Franklin would probably whoop his ass anyway.
Tito couldn't beat Chuck or Randy on his best day. Sorry to say it but that's the truth. It's time for Tito to move on.

Tito may be outclassed in his division, but dont go KOTC on him. Hes still better than that.

maybe you are right. i agree he has no chance against either liddell or randy so he probab;y would go to middleweight as long as they didnt put him up against franklin. he cant be cocky enought to think he would beat franklin (or is he).
i dont think we will see him in the ufc anyway. he did win his last fight in the ufc but it was a slow paced to a decision against a guy he should have beaten quickly. then he ran around the arena like a maniac before the decision was even announced. i think his time with the ufc is over, i wish him luck with his career.

Im sure Tito was just trying to get some juice between him and Sham, Chuck, whoever. People like it when fighters have heat outside the octagon, and he needed to try and guarantee another payday after a lackluster performance. Put him in there with Wes "The Pathetic" Sims so he can get some confidence back!

It seems Pride stole Belfort, who isn't a rep anymore but a contracted fighter, and I'd say the next best thing for Tito is Pride. They pay more, which is Tito's fuel to fight, and he could face Silva and Belfort again.

Ortiz's contract was up after his fight against Belfort @ UFC 51. His agent/manager and himself figured he was worth almost half a million per fight (at least that's the numbers I was hearing at the time), win, lose or draw and that Tito was the whole reason that the UFC ever made it outta the dark ages. Dana disagreed and a fued started between Zuffa and Ortiz. Ortiz figured that he had been wronged and thus the falling out between Tito and the UFC.

Tito is a baby.....He can go away for all I care.
But if he does come back I'd love to see him fight Chuck again or Randy they showed him how its done
I don't think Vitor is gone from UFC hes just not fighting there until he gets things together he might do his contract with Pride then come back or something..........At least I hope so

Butterbean had a opening fight in the King of Cage against a no name. Threw the hole fight when butterbean would get pinned up against the cage and started to get whaled on for no more then 3 seconds the ref Cecil Peoples would automatically break them up like it was a boxing match, butterbean got worked all 3 rounds, never even had a chance, even though he didn't get knocked out he still got out faught, breathing hard chasing the guy around the ring at a baby's crawl speed while getting clocked over and over, he even fell down once but got back up.
Came to a judges decision and they called it a draw. EVERYONE was booing and obviously the less popular guy should of won.
I think maybe this was just a desperate act to try to gain more fans for King of Cage. I don't want to see the MMA leagues go in the same direction as boxing. Other king of cage fights i have been just fine with and i have enjoyed, but im not gonna stand buy and support rigged fights.
