Rampage in attendence
Anyone else see him next to Kevin James?
I was really hoping Dana White was gonna make one of his special announcements.

Jackson will end up in Strikeforce or WFA. Maybe pull a Jens and end up fighting for IFL as well. Can't wait!

Yeah, I was so pumped he was there. I thought he was gonna make a big anouncement fo sho. I guess the UFC wouldnt let him do the IFL gig if he fought for UFC. Bummer.
Quentin got my hopes all up, and stomped them out!

Just a side note. What ever Jackson says usually is just messin with your head. He was being way too obvious about everything. I had my hopes but not up too high. Just from a fans perspective and not from all the blatant "hints" he was giving. He's definitely good at keeping people talking about him just like his good friend Tito.

Well he did say he is finsihed with pride as pride is shown free to air, and very hard for him to get a good sponsor in pride especially because he is foreign. I have a good feeling he will join UFC, wait till ufc 60. If we dont hear anything next month it will look doubtful. *Sidenote loved his fight with Chuck in Pride. I never saw Chuck dominated like that before, plus it was all standup.

I'm not saying it's not possible he is going to fight for the UFC. At least maybe once. But he's not doing it any time soon. He had everyone excited and talking about him so he could get more exposure. He's going to go where he will get the most money. IFL obviously offered him something attractive or he wouldn't have signed on to do so. Also UFC is not the only place for fighters to go in the USA anymore. Strikeforce is up and coming and IFL is not lacking funds to bring in the talent. WFA is supposed to get started up soon but they've had a few setbacks that have prevented them from doing so. It's very possible that Jackson will fight in the USA. Doesn't mean it will be the UFC. K1 is possible and Pride isn't out of the question either. He was done with his contract but that doesn't mean he is done with them for good.

Actually Quinton has said so himself on his website that he isn't going to the UFC. He even called it "U-Fight-Cheap" and said Dana has his cell # but never called him back. I have serious doubts that it will happen. He said he would fight Chuck if Dana made it worth his while, obviously that didn't happen and that he also will be making an announcement soon about where he will be fighting.
Here's a couple quotes from Jackson himself:
"...i don't need to call Dana, Chuck wants to fight me, i want to fight Wanderlai and Showgun thats how it gos. I will fight Chuck if they can make it worth my while!"
"I dont want to get sued for contract violations, have some faith in the blackman for decision that I make. I did have some fun with you guys when u thought I was going to the UFC. But I fealt bad when I couldnt tell you guys last night. I owe you an apology except the ones who are talking trash and putting that video clip up of me getting knocked out!"
"...I TOLD YALL THAT I WAS NOT GOING TO THE U- Fight-Cheap! but yall dont pay atenntion"
"...IN MY NEXT FIGHT I WILL SHUT ALL THE HATERS MOUTHS,AND WANDERLIA GOT LUCKY IN THE 2ND FIGHT WITH ME AND HE WILL NEVER BET ME AGAIN."
I have a feeling he isn't leaving Japan.

Apparently Dana doesn't have much interest in him. But of course Dana knows best. He knows what the fans want and it definitely isn't Chuck vs. Quinton!

Dude I wonder if Dana realizes how much money he could make off that fight. Does he really not want him to come fight Chuck? That is so stupid. Dana has this thing where he says it's "not what the fans want to see" Wonder if he used that brilliant logic for this decision. It's good for Zuffa, good for us fans, could have been good for Chuck and Quinton but oh well. Like I said Poppa Dana knows best.

Dana is in it for the money, not what the fans want to see, which is stupid, because what the fans want to see will bring the money.
Chuck vs. Quinton would have probably brought more PPV´s than he has ever sold in the history of the UFC. The guy is just not a business man, and his loyality to the fans seems to be even worse.
Quinton signing with the UFC would have elevated the UFC to a higher level. Oh well Dana..
