Default Tito accuses Forrest of cheating in their match on a radio interview

In an interview, tito said that forrest cheated and greased his legs up with baby oil and thats the reason his takedowns in the later part of the fight didnt land. The fight i saw was one where forrest was totally stuffing his takedown attempts in the last two rounds, not one where it looked like he had a hold on his legs then just slipped off. Im not sure if it happened or not but i think thats a low thing to do, come out and start complaining even after he got the split decision. heres the link if you guys want to read it...

Tito didn't have any trouble taking Forrest down in the first round, and that's when the oil, if there was any, would've been the slickest...not in the second and third rounds when he's sweated it all off. You're right Forrest was sprawling not slipping out of attempts. Kinda like him bringing up the ACL/MCL thing, after the fight, like it was an excuse as to why he couldn't get him down in the second and third very well. Dude, you took him with ease in the first round and the injury happenend before the fight. Just admit it, you were gassed. C'mon Tito...stop with ur excuses all ready.

I think it was a bad decision yeah tito got the take down but forrest got back up and started landing punches in my mind that that is just as good as a take down if it would of been like the first round where tito did damage that would of been different but i think forrest got more elbows in from his back then tito did from the top

why the hell is tito saying forrest cheated and complaing about the fight ...does he not know he won or somthing ....i like tito but somtimes he makes no f ing sense

I've seen the fight about 12 times now. Each time I homestly think Tito won. Close but won. In the whole fight Forrest landed ONE real good punch. Tomorrow morning I'm going to see it again and make a minute by minute review. I also think the second was much closer than people think....

I agree. It was close. In my opinion, Tito did more damage on Forrest in the first round than Forrest did on Tito on the last 2 put together. The last 2 rounds were nothing more than trading jabs. Not to mention, people fail to realise that Tito fought while sustaining previous injuries. Excuses or not, but I would like to see the rest of these Tito haters step in the UFC octagon with an injured knee and try leaping for a take down.

Seriously who does that? You won the fight man, don't try to bring another fighter down like that. Besides, with all the cameras in the locker rooms and everything it would be very hard for Forrest to put oil on before he went out to fight. Not to mention Tito looked totally winded (which was probably from his injury, I'll give him that) and barely got his hands on him.

Eraser - Your comment in here have only been on the decision. As a big fan of Tito's, what do you think about him making excuses? Especially since he won, do you think he should be making accusations like that?

He's just determined to show everybody how much his biased opinion affects his ability to accurately break down a fight. I think it was in poor taste for Tito to say anything at all; especially since he got the "W." First, he complained about his ACL/MCL tear and used it as an excuse for his lack luster performance in the last two rounds. However, the injury happenend before the fight and Tito had no problem in the first round taking him down. Own up to the fact that you were GASSED Tito. Then, all of a sudden, Forrest was oiling his legs....lol.

Honestly? I just wish he would shut up and rehab now. Hearing him say things like that makes it hard to justify some of his actions. Fact is both fought their hearts out and Tito came out victorious with a ACL/MCL tear he shouldn't make excuses as people must be respecting him for fighting and winning w/his bum knee.

Yeah even if Forrest did grease up (not saying he did) he still freakin won?! Every time I gain a little respect for Cheeto he blows it! The Huntington Beach Bad Boy is definatley back!

on one hand, he seems pretty cool on TUF3.
on the other hand, he seems to have no problem labeling someone a cheater to make up for a sub-standard performance.
He should just do the old eye-patch and scar routine to let us know if we're dealing with the Good Tito or his twin brother Evil Tito.
