Chris Byrd via 8th round TKO.

I hope so anyway. I might finally get over 10,000 points if he wins.

I like Wlad in the fight, but the gambler in me can't pass up the odds on Byrd.

Klitschko wanted to take the easy path by avoiding Brewster and choosing Byrd instead. But he will lose, I watched the weigh-in about 6 times, Byrd is in tremendous shape and looks pissed. No way, is he gonna lose to Wladimir Klitschko again.

I donīt think Byrd will knock him out, although Wladīs chin is glass, but he will definitely out-point him.

Damn...all this support for Byrd. I don't understand why. What has he done lately? He hasn't exactly looked impressive. Wlad's chin is the only thing that could give him problems here and I don't really think Byrd has a great shot at exposing it. All this Byrd support makes me want to change my bet.

wlad just needs to stay away and kick his ass... byrd is very quick and there is a risk that wlad is going to be ko'd by a quick counter or something but i firmly support wlad! thats why i bet on him lmao..... i hope there is a little of his brother in him.

I donīt think Wladimir has done anything lately either. Couple of wins over nobodies, and Samuel Peter is way overrated. The only competition he stepped up to in the past years was Brewster and he got TKOīd.

Byrd is not lightyears ahead of Klitschko, however I do believe he is a better boxer, if he play his cards right, he can win this.

Wladimir Klitschko, has never beaten anybody important in his life, he made a name for himself beating bums, or good boxers like Ray Mercer in the end of their careers. Iīll give him credit for beating McCline, Botha, Schulz and Byrd, but they are not the cream of the crop. I hate to say it, but muscle and height donīt make a good boxer, itīs the skills COMBINED with those attributes which make a boxer good. Klitschko is just big.. thatīs all.

Boxers like Sanders or Brewster who didnīt allow this to intimidate them, exposed his glass chin and lack of resilience. Byrd is a smart boxer, so I believe he will outbox him and out smart him. The only thing which might haunt him, is his defeat to Wlad 6 years ago, which I believe he has completely put aside for this fight, at least I think he has.

Ok, I take everything back I said, that was all theoretically. Klischko just absolutely dominated Byrd at will. Byrd had no chance..lol.

The thing is, I canīt even make any excuses for Byrd. Klitschko did everything right, Byrd did everything wrong.

I was disgusted because of Klitschko, his stepping on Byrd's toes, his holding, his hitting while holding and pushing.
Man, I don't like the Klitschkos. I hope he fights Shannon Briggs. Bring it on!

Or not.

That was one of the most dominating HW performances I've seen in quite awhile. I have gained a new found respect for Klitschko. What a fight!

It was also nice to see an exciting HW battle, even if it was a little one sided. Props to Byrd for sustaining the fifth round beating.

It seems to me that you tend to be a fan of the "power punchers" in the sport. I'm curious as to why you dislike the Klitschkos so much.

LOL, this is too funny! I was gonna let you lie Bull as your picks have been tough lately and I feel for you.

But you are disgusted with Wlad because of him stepping on Byrd's foot, his holding, and his hitting while holding and pushing? This from the guy who is a big fan of John Ruiz?!? That's pretty funny!

His holding was fine. Stepped on his toes a few times, but what can you expect when a short fighter tries gettin inside when the other contenders legs are twice as long. Holding was all technique so Byrd couldnt get inside shots. Technique. Why was that bad at all.... If you gotta fight alittle dirty then do it. No one said it was a kind gentle sport.
