Like I said earlier on, I'm trying to download as many matches as I can here lately, and I downloaded the Mir vs. Sylvia fight from UFC 48 I believe. It was for the heavyweight title also.

What exactly happened to make the ref end the fight? It was only 50 seconds in, and I didn't see Sylvia tap or anything. What was the reasoning for stopping the fight, Sylvia looked confused..

I watched it over and definitely saw the break. I actually may have watched the slo-mo version a few too many times. :/

That was pretty devastating stuff. I actually thought Sylvia was about to knock him out, but I was pretty wrong.

Those armbars are no joke...Sylvia doesn't wait around to tap out anymore, after having all that work to fix his arm. Was it Arvloski that tapped him on a toe or leg lock?

Yeah, I watched that fight the other night. Heh, I'm trying to play catch up for all the lost time I've missed out on. But it's good because I know just all the results of the last 4 or 5 UFC events.

So Mir messed up Sylvia pretty badly?
