Royce's record since the sport has evolved is 2-1-2, not very impressive. Matt has came a long way since he first started. At first he was strictly a wrestler, now he is a true mixed martial artist. I think his ability to take the fight wherever he wants will be a huge advantage. If Matt wants to keep it standing, Royce won't be able to easily take him down and keep him down. If he wants to take it to the ground he will take Royce down. I think people are underestimating Matt's ground game. He will also be fighting Royce without a gi (another advantage to Hughes). I believe Matt will dominate the fight and finish Gracie.
