Exactly!

I disagree.. Pride´s Top fighters at 205, are just as good as any fighter in the UFC´s 205.

Mh, I think your point was UFC´s 205 are "better" than Pride´s.. What i mean´t was Pride´s 205 is just as good, meaning equal and better.

That is something you could agrue till the cows come home, but there is only 1 way to find out...I wish Pride and the UFC could reach an agreement that would allow for more fights between the 2 promotions.

NO NO NO Pride fighters cannot be compared to UFC fighters I see this talk about UFC fighters at 205 hangin with fighter in Pride at 205......... No I'm sorry they can't 2004 Rampage beat the hell out of Chuck Liddell, 2005 Vitor Belfort is elminated by rear naked choke by Overeem in the First Round the Tourny ok who next to come over from UFC Babalu or how ever you say his name the guys a tad bit slow he'll get beat by Yoshida. UFC Welter Weights Can't compare either Pride has Gomi, Hansen, Kawajiri, etc. Come on be serious.

Another thing that was said was UFC being way more hyped than Pride......... what the hell are you smokin. Pride has way better entrances with the Huge screen and fireworks and the female announcer. Then when the get into the Ring you got the male annoucer who just as crazy. And the crowd isn't stupid like UFC they don't boo and SCREAM when ever a baby punch lands. Its quite until something happens as Bas says it really quite and all you feel is the elecrity in the air. The Fans actually know about fighting and if somethings happening or not but over here in USA they cheer for anything the just wanna see a fight and have no respect for the sport.

UFC plays that same dumb music and does their shows like in hotel lobbys and ball rooms while pride does it in SOLD OUT areanas with like 10 to 20 thousand in attendance. The more I watch Pride the more I don't want to watch UFC. Its seems more america boxing now its just like K-1 it used to be ok when it was in Japan then came here and now its sucks.

The fighter know which is better UFC fighter go to Pride not the other way around.

Pride´s averages an attendance of 40,000-50,000 The first round of the Middleweight Tournament 2005 had 45,423 viewers in the Arena. UFC could never fill an Arena like that.

Pride has better fighters..
Pride has better introductions..
Pride has better entrances..
Pride has better attendances..
Pride has better purses...
Pride has better commentators ( Bas Rutten )

Pride is just better.. it just is. UFC is not bad.. But the Tournaments have always been better in Japan. Vale Tudo is a great example.

WOW I didn't think it was that many who showed up! In every aspect though Prirde is much better thatn UFC. I t was funny yesterday when Gomi was trying to finish the fight by submission because he was trying so hard and just couldn't do it like when the guy was holding his hands to block the arm bar so Gomi came up and hammer fisted him in he face then went fo it again. good stuff
