Default Experiences w/ the Gracie Diet

Waddup yall, I'm lookin at this thing and wondering if i should start it. It seems pretty logical and I am interested in a diet that boosts performance.

Have any of yall tried it? Howd it go? Was it easy to keep up with? Cuz the one thing that troubles me is that it looks expensive.

Help me out yall!

Here is a link to the diet, it deserves a read through at least if you havent seen it ---> http://stickgrappler.tripod.com/bjj/gjjdiet.html

The only person I've heard from who tried to stick to it said it was really tough and he "cracked" and went off it. That's about all I can offer.

Gave up. He got tired of constantly stressing over what he could and couldn't eat and what combinations were good and which ones were bad. And if you have a girlfriend or family that expect you to eat meals with them regularly, be prepared for a lot of grief when you try explaining the new structure of your meals.

I say give it a try. Organize yourself and start Monday morning. The worst that can happen is you come to the same conclusion and go back to your regular eating habits.

thats one complex diet in the beginning. i would imagine that in time it would become just another part of your daily routine. the idea of stressing over it is the only thing that would bother me. of course thats easily solved by preplanning all of your meals. you'd be well off to create a "menu" for yourself with maybe 20 food combinations that you'd most enjoy and eat from that. if you get bored create 20 new ones, then you'd have 40..etc. beats the crap out of going grocery shopping trying to create possible meals in your head before you buy anything.
