ufc 63 in montreal
now it sounds to be close of being official!
Mr. Patry ( tko organisation president ) said after TKO 26 in a press conference, that Hughes vs GSP will be in montreal, also there will be a fight between Loiseau and Swick or Terrel, and Mr. Patry will try to deal a fight for Jonathan Goulet probably against Sanchez...
For those who doesnt know it, Mr. Patry is the manager of GSP, and was the manager of Loiseau too but not anymore, since his loss against Rich Franklin. He is also the reason why some of the TKO fighters are now in the ufc ( hominick, stout, gsp , loiseau, goulet, and maybe soon Patrick Coté ) So i think i can trust him for now...its not OFFICIAL but...really close to be, i wont say its official till its announced by Dana or the ufc organisation.
if it happens, i hope to see some of you guys coming in here for the week end!

I didnt know, but surely theres always more than one possible spot for each ufc event, but TKO was working hard and talking a lot with the ufc to bring this event in Montreal

My understanding of Quebec's MMA laws is that they only sanction pro fights in a ring, while the octagon is still illegal.

I so hope that UFC 63 is in Montreal. Since I'm only about 4 hours south of there, I'll definitely be getting tickets to go. Who knows, I might be able to run into some fellow fans of FightForum there, which would be cool in itself.

I'd like to see Loiseau vs. Swick...I'd think that'd be a good'n.

I'm definately there. Since hearing the rumors I've got a buddie that works at ticketmaster keeping an eye out for it.

UFC in Montreal would be off the hook!! I am on the opposite side of the country but the Quebecois will show the rest of the world how a PPV should really be attended. I lived in Montreal for 2 years and I can't imagine a more deserving crowd. Just think about how pumped GSP and the Crow will be fighting in front of their home crowd. That fact in itself pushes GSP in front of Hughes for the win.
