Default I don't feel like I got my $$$ worth

I know any UFC is better than none but 62 was definitely not worth the $40.
IMHO

Hermes Franca and Nick Diaz added alot to the night - I give those guys an A. Bonnar Griffin was not as good as the first but still not bad, B. Kongo put on a good show with an A. Chuck and Babalu, what can you say? Reminds me of those days when there was no way you were not going to get a Tyson fight but main event was gone in 60 seconds. Can't blame Chuck and he even apologized to the fans that his fights won't go past the first round. Chuck gets an A+.

$40 hurts but I can't say it wasn't worth it.

I actually thought 62 was pretty good until Liddell v. Sobral. Was it worth $40? So, far none of them have been worth the $$$ and yet, even when I say I won't, I end up paying... Man, I want to see Kongo against Silvia, though!

UFN's are worth the money .Even if they charge, they've been so consistently good . . . does Dana check these sites?

Even if he does, he doesn't care. The people on this board are not the UFC's desired audience. Sounds weird, I know. People here are pretty hard core, know the fighters, know the difference between an armbar and a kimura, probably have even trained or fought.

White is a smart guy or, at least, he has some pretty smart advisors. He is trying to increase the base by marketing/pandering to a larger audience, specifically 17-35 year-old males with high incomes, who don't know a helluva lot about fighting and don't really care.

If you guys are going to cry over 40 bucks dont even bother purchasing another event. Its only 40 bucks what once every month and a half, Its something i look forward to watching every time it comes around and its well worth the 40 bucks.

Exactly! Stop crying and stop buying. Out of the 5 scheduled fights, this card had 2 submissions, 2 knockouts, and a bloodly brawl that ended in a decision. What more do you want? Seriously. I want to know what would have made you feel that you got your money's worth.

40 bucks is tough to pay, you guys could see if its playing at a bar or sports bar in your area. I looked on the ufc website and it was playing at hooters in my area.

As in another thread awhile back already said, lots of people share the UFC ppv nights. You guys could gather friends, get some beers/pizza whatever, pitch in $, and there 's your perfect UFC ppv.

This is why I didn't get this one. I couldn't see paying 40 bucks for one fight (Liddell vs Babalu); which I already knew was going to finish in a KO. It was a pretty shi##y card in my opinion. If I'm going to purchase a ppv, I wanna see big named, top ranked fighters...not the champ and a bunch of up and comers.

if up and comers dont get to fight now what big names will fill the card in 2 or 3 years?

if you stuff a PPV full of champs and big names, what will you have for the next 2 or 3 PPVs?

What bothered me is that it wasn't one fight with a bunch of up-and-comers. It was the main event and a card full of unknowns and losers. By losers I don't mean that they have no business in the UFC, but most of these guys were coming off losses. The winners of those fights should be on PPV, not the losers.

I went to the PPV channel. All I had to do was hit ENTER to rent. But I passed. I started thinking about the card and I decided if they want my money they can put more effort into showing exciting fighters. I don't regret my decision.

Please don't bother telling me how great the fights were. I've seen a lot of great fights and I'll see hundreds more. But if they want me to pay for an event, then it has to be compelling enough that I can't resist.

I thought it was well worth it but MMA to me is like crack to an addict so maybe I'm biased. Plus, $40 is about 3/4 tank of fuel right now so it really isn't anything to me. I watched it for free anyway, but I'd have paid the $40 and watched it alone if I didn't have somewhere else to go. I thought it was a great card. If you didn't like this one, maybe you should stick with WWE.

Okay, I'll stop whining. $40 bucks really isn't that much. It is just those fights just didn't give me the adrenaline ruch that other cards in the past have.
