In Tito's latest post on his forum he talks about a possible rematch with Frank Shamrock. I just see it as another excuse to avoid fighting Chuck and Randy even longer. He used the fight with Ken Shamrock to duck Chuck three years ago. It's nice to see that Tito hasn't changed at all.
Hell, Randy and Chuck have to retire sooner or later right?

I wanna see ol' Frank beat him down till he cries. Frank will take it, I dont think he'll have a problem with conditioning. Tito's all up and thinking he's on a roll since he beat Belfort(barely) but he's gonna be surprised... though I wont be.

It wont be in the UFC though. Both fighters have burned the bridges to that company.

I really think that Vitor is a better fighter than Tito. Vitors fighting ability is all in his head. The only fights he ever loses are to himself. As far as Frank and Tito, I hope Frank whoops him good. Frank has always been my favorite fighter. I think hes faster and more skilled than Tito, and probably in better physical condition (as the Shamrocks always are).

Pride won't take Tito out of respect for the UFC and I don't think Zuffa will see that match as a big draw. (I don't anyway.) Tito lost to Frank 5 years ago in UFC 22. Why pick Frank?
I'm not sure if/when/where this fight will happen, but Rick's Tire Barn will likely be the main sponsor.

Both guys have connections to the Penn's Rumble on th Rock organization. Could be a possible landing spot. More likely, if it would happen, it would take place in California maybe under the Strke Force banner, the same that is purported to be promoting the Shamrock-Cesar Gracie fight.
I think it will never happen. Tito is just hoping to get the chance to avenge that loss. No talk about Randy or Chuck I see.

he did say it was time for him to avenge his losses.. so if he does get this fight, does that mean he will get back in there with Chuck or Randy given the opportunity??? I THINK NOT... Be great to see though..

Tito is all talk. I personally have never seen him win a fight that wasnt ground and pound (that I can think of). The guy is just good at holding people down and breaking their spirit.

Man you guys can't diss a guy that owned the UFC longer than any light heavyweight...
Sure he talks a lot and sure he ducked Chuck...But there should be no arguing that he is a damn good fighter period. Not a better wrestler than Randy and not even as good a striker as Chuck but he does have a nice combination of all skills. If this fight does ever happen I'd bet every single point I have that Tito will beat Frank....

I hate Tito's guts, but he's not a bad fighter... he's just an ass. I've always been impressed with Shamrock's skill, esp his takedowns. Anyways, I don't think Tito's conditioning has ever been questionable, I never see him gas and he does train hard. So give the whiney, dyed-haired jerk a little bit of credit. Even though he'd lose to Shamrock =P

Tito is all hot air. Yes, the man can fight, but I think Frank would open up a can of ass whoop Ajax wouldn't take off of him.

Tito wants to avenge his losses. I heard an interview with Randy once and he said "I don't try to avenge losses. I just try to learn from my mistakes and move forward."
If Tito keeps looking back his whole career is going to pass him by.

I am about as far from a Tito fan as there is but reading through this thread is making me shake my head in disbelief. What exactly makes all of you think that Frank would beat Tito if they fought now? I'm not sure if many of you have seen their first fight or not, but if you recall, Tito was handling Frank rather easily until the he gassed in the fourth round. Tito has improved ten fold since that fight, remained active, and became one of the most dominant LHW fighters in the history of the sport. Frank has had one fight in the past 5 years and it was against an average fighter at best.
I like Frank Shamrock a lot and I am no fan of Tito's, but to say that Frank would beat Tito without much difficulty is borderline insane. You can hate Tito all you want, but you can't deny the man's ability. If this fight were to happen, there is no doubt I would be rooting for Frank all the way, but my money would be going on Tito without question.
