Default I cant believe they didnt show Roger Huerta fight

this was easily the most exciting fight of the night. This kid Huerta is a beast. I had never seen him fight, but heard alot of positive things about this kid, and i was amped to see him fight. Boy did he put on a show. He had a TON of energy. He mixed ground n pound with some good stand up. During the first round he was in Jason Dent's guard, and Dent was holding him pretty tight. Roger then stood up and sprinted to the other side of the cage and rammed Dent into it. Then sat up in his guard and started hammer fisting Dent's stomache. He did whatever he could to stop the fight. From the standing position Dent was laying the ground, and Huerta was kicking his legs inbetween flying in with some powerful shots. He was threw nice combinations with kicks, and even a spinning back fist. If he was on the ground in Dent's guard he would sit up and throw punches, then pound Dent's stomache. It was EASILY the most entertaining fight on the card. UFC better not drop the ball on this kid. They need to throw him onto a televised fight on either UFN or another PPV, the fans at the pond LOVED him by the time his fight was over, he fought the way all fighters should.

I was hoping to see that match too. I guess it just went too long to fit in between the main bouts. We'll see more of Huerta. From what I've heard it he may be in contention for the belt. What a stacked division, where even the UFC newcomers like Huerta, Griffin and Lauzon are belt threats, along with a half-dozen established guys. It's going to be some ride before a dominant champ is established.

yeah the kid was a monster. I think him and Lauzon would be a good fight. Both seem to bring TONS of energy to the ring. I know he fought Guillard already and it ended in a no contest. I am trying to find details about that fight.

I could have been mistaken. I was pretty sure I had seen it not too long before I posted in this thread but I could have mistaken it for another fight. Either way, there are most of the UFC 63 fights on there...

Yeh dude it was the fight of the night IMO.Non-stop action throughout.

Huerta always seemed to be pressing the pace.

The kid is good and a Lauzon fight would be very interesting seeing as how they are both really aggressive grapplers.

I just rewatched this fight, and you guys owe it to yourselves to try and find some footage of Huerta.

Huerta's GNP had an almost Fedor-esque look to it.He was setting Dent up with big body shots and throwing these huge wind up shots from the guard. It was pretty impressive.

Huerta came into that fight with two hurt elbows from training with Matt Hughes, and he seemed to be a very good wrestler, thoroughly controling the ground game, and even though Dent threw up some sub attempts,Huerta was never in any trouble. His stand up wasn't too shabby either and he was able to get the better of the exchanges.

Look out UFC,Miletich may possibly have a future contender at 155 and it isn't Jens Pulver.

The fight with Dent is on UFC On Demand. I feel ripped off. I shouldn't have to pay for it, I already bought the PPV.

What I don't get.... I buy the PPV for $40, and they sell the time for commercials. We're paying for the PPV, there should be no commercials, and they should show all the fights. Rat bassets.
