Barnett's comments weren't that bad he was kinda givin a guy in the crowd a hard time. He said if Tim wanted to take a step up am come to Pride he would fight him. He said he would not step down to fight in the UFC. He also mentioned he didn't know UFC had a HW division.
It wasn't that bad because it was fan Q&A. If he was on National television iyt would be different. He also said some things about Big Nog. It seemed like he was trying to give the fans a good show.

No double standard, Barnett is a nice guy and always has time for the fans, loves to put on a show for the fans, talks trash for the fans to enjoy.. Hughes is just an a-hole from all accounts.

I have to admit that it does feel like a double-standard to me. It is not just with Hughes either. The same thing happens with Diego Sánchez. With people like Diaz and Riggs and Trigg being "cool guys" and Hughes and Diego being the arrogant pricks and a-holes and whatever. It certainly sounds like sour grapes anti-fandom against Hughes and that like.

Speaking of double-standards:
Tim sylvia: when he speaks out against pride, saying he could hold his own, if not BEAT pride's top guys. Then you all say sylvia's being a jerkoff or something and bash him.
When someone like josh from pride does the opposite with comments aimed at UFC/sylvia instead---he's PRAISED by you ingrates?
Yup. Good ol'Double-standards. Nice job people! You all make the MMA-World proud
