I may be a bit biased because I am a boxer, BUT the fact of the matter is punches are faster than kicks. Fists are always closer to the target than feet. A boxer's punches will always be superior to a kickboxer's punches. If a kickboxer misses a kick, he will mostlikely be severely off balance for a moment. With an elite boxer vs. elite kickboxer, I think the boxer would win 9 out of 10 times.
