UFC Fight Club!
I just joined the UFC Fight Club. IT was the only way to get pre-sale tickets for Ortiz/Liddell II in December, so my trip is set. Got the hotel, everything from Dec 29-31 (Fri/Saturday) night.
This is gonna be awesome. The UFC Fight Club is pretty neat, you get all kinda neat discounts and access like to stuff at the fights, free passes etc.
The website is only open for pre-sale tickets for those who are interested, but the club looks like it's gonna be pretty cool. Access to video's news, recaps of fights right after the events etc. You can either go for the platinum type membership for $64 annually or the $24 one annually, either way you have easier access to the UFC and it's archives/fighters, etc.
Thank you to all on FIght Forum who helped me with the research in planning my Vegas trip to this fight. If any of you manage to end up going to this event, PM me and we can hook up for a few drinks, cause I think this fight can be the best fight of the year.
Being a huge Tito fan, you just have to rake out the $$ to support your guy I guess and now I can't wait for this. It's gonna be awesome!
Now I have to go work some overtime to help pay for this Vegas weekend with the UFC!

Few words of advice: Dont get so drunk that you dont remember the fight, Buy at least one memorabilia item, Go to the wieghin... thats where youll meet most all of the fighters, hang out in the hotel nightclubs about 2hrs after the fight and you get to have some good times wathing and interacting with the fighters, and finally ride the bigshot on top of the stratusphere.

hope you have an awesome time. I too am going to be betting most of my points on tito if I have any left by december. The ufc 66 card has a lot of promising fights lined up. Either ufc 65 or 66 I feel will be the best cards of the year.

With airfaire and everything two nights at the hotel and the 200 dollar tickets all totalled 1800 bucks. A big bullet for just a couple of nights, but my wife and I don't do anything else with our money, so we splurge a bit towards the bigger UFC events and concerts of artists we like etc.
Like I said, I'm not a big RIch Franklin or Matt Hughes fan, and they've been mostly the headliners in UFC events the last year and a half. And all the Tito fights are non-title and I don't want to dish out the $$$ for non-title bouts. I did go to all the Couture/Liddell fights, and this one should be good. Win or lose, it'll be a good time.
And to the guy who said not to get too drunk I won't remember the fights?
I learned that lesson in Tito/Matushenko in 2001. I got drunk with Shonie Carter after he was hitting on my wife, and this fool was so crazy I totally was comatose and had to watch the fight on video a few days later when I got back.
I'm not gonna do that again, nor have I since.

Betting tip: "ALWAYS bet on who you THINK will win. Not who you want to win".
With that said, even if i was the biggest tito fan. I'd NEVER bet on the guy. He is going to catch a BEATDOWN from chuck.

that is a lot... but definitly not as much as i thought it would be... I can scrape that together and i just might for the next big fight... I also have two friends in Vagas that i might be able to stay with to save on the hotel. But if i am spending the money i might as well go the 9 yards with it.

Very good point!
I THINK Tito will win because he's the type when everything is against him, he manages to shock everyone. Who really thought he'd come back and be welcomed as a coach with TUF after all that bad blood between him and Dana?
Tito comes prepared. I love..AND I MEAN I LOVE THE ICEMAN! But..........I think this will be more of a fight than people think. I think Tito learns with some of the best out there. I still think Tito is hungry and wants his belt back in a big way. I love Chuck, but can see that overall Chuck Liddell has basically been on cruise control through all his title defenses.
So what happens if you take someone like Chuck out of his gameplan??? Even a little?
I leave it to Tito to be prepared enough to take Chuck out of his game-plan even a little!!!! Tito is good enough to do that! I think Tito will be much more aggressive, and if he can get in Chucks head JUST A LITTLE.... Who knows?????
"There's a guy out there. The only guy who motivates me to keep training. Where's that big headed? Him. There he is! Tito. This man keeps me more motivated than any of them to keep training cause I know I'll have to deal with him down the road!" - Chuck Liddell after his victory over Babalu Sobral August 2006

How do you get tickets for a weigh in? I'm going to UFC 69, but haven't seen any info about the weigh in yet. Do you have to be a Fight Club member to get tickets??
