Fight (Advice Needed)
I'm going to be getting into my first fight soon and I need advice. Can anybody offer any advice? I'm a freshman (in High School) and I am fighting a junior. I never scene him fight before. Any advice you can give me so I can win this fight?
All help is greatly appreciated.

I don't want to fight dirty. I would just like to use my fist. You get made fun of here for fighting dirty.

Street fights are different, grab hold of his hands if you go down and bust a finger. There are no rules in the street fight.

if its a high school fight which it sounds like throw the first punch and try to land it square on his nose to bust it and water his eyes. then let instinct take over
but you should search every option first to get out of the fight. walk away if you have to.

I know, but there are these standards that my school has. Also I need to make it look good because people will be watching. What do I do if more then one person jumps in?

Yeah, I was thinking that. Would a punch to the nose knock him down or would a punch to under the jaw be better?
Walking away is no longer an option.

what the hell kinda high school do you go to? if its a street fight the only rule is to win. within a few days people will forget how you won and just remember you won. unless you just cold clock him clean on the jaw he won't be knocked out. but if you bust his nose good it'll water his eyes for a second and give you a chance to swing for the fences or tackle him and get control.
give us some background on why you gotta fight this kid

If you are just fighting to impress people then you shouldn't be fighting because you will lose. If someone else is about to jump in I heard from someone on this forum that its best to get them in a sub and threaten to break their neck or a bone or something if they don't get away.
But really, just get the first hit in, if they got long hair grab a handfull with the left hand and let them fly with the right maybe?

It's a real long (most likely boring) story.
So if I get first hit I should go directly for the nose? Also what do I do if he has a lot of speed or a lot of power?

I'm not fighting just to impress people, but since there will be a lot of people there I want to look good doing it. I know I can beat him if I don't take the wrong shot (for example something to the nose). Also I don't want the fight to last long.

It was suppose to be yesterday, but I gave the kid my number and he never called. He was talking **** to everyone on his bus instead. I heard it will be Monday. He is slightly bigger and older. I am 135 pounds and 5'10. I have a 6 pack so shots to the stomach are usually ineffective on me.

Start taking wrestling, or jiu-jitsu... or judo... or something. Don't ask kids on the internet how to fight when we don't know what kind of tools you bring to the table.
My suggest is to put him on his back and mount him, try to maintain mount and if you feel like you're going to get rolled... stand-up.

I don't know what kind of childish and unauthentic thread this is again, but when I am to fight someone I do not give him my number.
Some months ago, on another message board, some guy said he was to fight Kimbo Slice. The members advised him (5'9'') to out-jab Kimbo (6'2'') in a streetfight. rofl

is this a serious thread? when i was in school if you had a problem with someone that warranted fighting you took care of it on the spot and did whatever it took to quickly end it. you did'nt go to an internet forum and ask for advice.

I agree...it should be then and there...not planning it when it's convenient for all your friends to watch...if so, the charge them all five bucks--winner take all.
